Situated in a small rural village between Hitchin and Luton our preschool takes advantage of its beautiful surroundings. Our children enjoy going for woodland walks, allowing them to explore and play within nature around them. We are lucky to have strong connections within the village community and we get invited to the local farm during lambing season and to meet the animals. We also have visits from ‘people who help us’ such as the police, fire service and ambulance giving the children the opportunity to ask questions, try on their uniform and sit in their vehicles.

We work closely with Breachwood Green JMI School to support the children (and parents) in their transition into school. Our children get invited to their events such as school disco and Christmas play. The school kindly lets us host our Christmas play in their hall and we hold our Breachwood Bunnies Baby and Toddler group there every Friday morning during term time. For more information about this group please click here.

As the preschool is run by a committee of parents/carers and local residents our fundraising events are supported and enjoyed by the village. We recently held a Band Night which was very popular! Our previous fundraiser events such as bingo night, car wash, sponsored walk and teddy bear picnic are always successful and enjoyed by all. To see what events are coming up please click here.
